To enter, FILL OUT THIS FORM.
One entry per person.
Preorder from any retailer will be accepted (including hardback, digital, etc.).
You must submit a proof of purchase (this can be as simple as a screenshot of your confirmation page but must show your name and date).
You will also need to give a name, email address and mailing address (if you’re under the age of 18, please check with a guardian).
Preorder swag will be sent out around the end of May 2020.
Entries with purchases/requests dated through September 1st, 2020 will be accepted!

*What are page proofs?

Page proofs are the interior pages of the book, designed and typeset and laid out just as it will appear when it prints. Though they’re printed on office paper, you can nevertheless get a feel for what it will look like in final form.

Page proofs are sent not only to the author but also a proofreader and editor. Their job is to compare the typeset pages to the copyedited pages and A) make sure that all the copyeditor’s and author’s most recent changes were correctly entered, B) check that no wonky text issues still exist (i.e., extra spaces, a sentence set in the wrong font, incorrect spelling grammar, etc.), and C) read through the book again looking for any illustration errors the anyone on the team may have missed.
